Janet has been a Broker/Owner since 1992 and has had two offices in the Tri-Valley area. She is a well-known figure within the real estate community, having started her career in 1974 and obtaining her broker's license in 1977. She is a past president of the Bay East Association of Realtors, has earned numerous professional designations including GRI, CRS, CRB. She was selected as "Realtor of the Year" by the Association of Realtors and for two consecutive years received the "Leadership Award" by the Association in recognition of her extensive Association and community activities and involvement. She is an Arbitrator and Mediator for the California Association of Realtors and regularly serves as an instructor for new and experience sales associates and has taught real estate classes at the junior college level.
She has earned a reputation for high integrity in all of her personal and professional relationships and is often called upon to resolve disputes between Realtors and/or clients. Her background includes a professional tax practice for more than 20 years and a Certified Financial Planner. Cristiano lives in Pleasanton with her husband, Joe Cristiano. They have six children and nine grandchildren all living in the Tri-Valley Area.
